I locked the front door, turned my watch setting to run and started to walk away from my home. I wasn’t in the mood to exercise. I was feeling a lot of stress from work. I was tired and feeling low on energy but, I knew that if I made myself just go run, I would feel better! This morning was no different. I felt the warmth of the sunrise, and the fresh air fill my lungs. It was invigorating! As the minutes passed, the stress started to melt away. By the time I returned home, I was feeling rejuvenated and focused.
This is what running does for me…it’s a great stress reliever! I don’t always feel like going on a run but I do it anyways. It helps me recalibrate and refocus. I think more clearly. I also get idea downloads by the dozens!
